Zahra
Zahra is the accidental goddess of Egypt, ruling her subjects with care,
and punishing criminals with no mercy
Zahra is a giant Egyptian cat, reaching 150ft tall similar to Gara. She rules a civilization in Egypt, looking after its people and dealing with its trouble makers. But how did this come to be?
Zahra was, originally, an ordinary cat. Cat's were worshipped in ancient Egypt, seen as either messengers for gods, or gods walking amongst them. This belief was so ingrained that during a battle between the Egyptians and the Persians, pictures depicting cats and even live cats were strapped to shields, as the Persians knew the Egyptians would not harm their sacred animals. One day, the aforementioned cat had wandered into the shrine of Bastet, the Egyptian goddess of protection, fertility, and domesticity. It was simply looking for something to eat.

However, when it approached a large statue of Bastet, the eyes within the statue began to glow a brilliant purple. Bastet suddenly appeared before this small cat, intending to turn it into a messenger. However, before Bastet could do her bidding, Ammit appeared. Ammit was a demon from the underworld, feared for her title "Devourer of the Dead". It was believed she hunted and consumed the souls of those who passed away who's hearts did not pass Anubis's test of the heart. She appeared before Bastet and intended on interrupting her blessing, wanting to create a being on the surface who would become the Devourer of the Living. With Bastets blessing and Ammit's curse, the cat suddenly grew in size, reaching 50ft tall!

This giant four legged fiend fled the shrine, and began to devour the citizens of Egypt, swallowing them down one by one. The goddess Ma'at and the god Khnum saw what was happening in Egypt, and came down to earth to help quell the rampage. Being that it was a cat that was causing all this digestive destruction, they did not want to simply kill it. Therefor, the two formed a plan. Ma'at, goddess of justice, would instill her blessing upon the cat. Her blessing would ensure that the cat would not devour indiscriminately, but would pass fair judgment, allowing innocents to walk free. Khnum, god of creation, who had specifically moulded the human form from clay, would bestow his own blessing. He gave the cat intelligence, awareness of mortality, and a new more human-like body.

This came with a cost however, as the transfiguration caused the cats new form to grow 100ft taller. Once done, the final god would appear. Ptah. He was the god of purpose. He would grant this new being god-like powers, and godly artifacts. He bestowed the cats purpose to her. Become the ruler and protector of the mortals in Egypt. Persecute those who betray Egypt, or those who commit crimes against Egypt, in any way she saw fit. Bastet would appear after Ptah had given the cat its purpose, and bestowed the cat's divine name. The mortals of Egypt would recognise the new Goddess "Zahra".

Personality
Zahra's personality changes depending on the situation. When it comes to her worshippers, and the citizens of Egypt, she is kind and caring, acting as a guarding mother figure to all those in her care. She often plays with her worshippers, allowing the young to climb and pet her, and the old to sit and rest with her. Whenever famine or drought should plague her beloved people, she will stop at nothing to ensure their continued comfort and survival, even at the cost of her own health.

However, when it comes to criminals or those that betray Egypt, they see an entirely different side to Zahra. She punishes criminals in various ways. For minor crimes such as theft, she will force them to worship her. This usually consists of worshipping her paws, cleaning her fur or keeping her temple tidy. For more severe crimes such as assault, she will give a much more... painful punishment. This may consist of being crushed beneath her paw, being her chew toy, being a nice bit of padding to her throne, or being used as her own personal... toy~. She makes sure to keep her strength in check as she doesn't wish to kill them. For unforgivable crimes such as murder, she believes in an eye for an eye. Those that would commit such atrocities will find themselves as red stains beneath her, or stewing away in her gut.

When it comes to close friends, she feels most at ease. She becomes a lot more playful and cat-like, rubbing her face against her friends, becoming all cuddly and cute. She makes sure her people do not see her when she acts like this, as she sees it as undignified.

Zahra is still the goddess of the mortals of Egypt, and still protects her thriving civilization to this day. Abilities: Zahra is able to grow and shrink herself. Her growth limit is 150ft and her shrink limit is 6ft.
